School board discusses changes for 2016-17

School board members and administrators for Brady Public Schools know they’ll be replacing at least one staff member for the 2016-17 school year.

Exactly how they will do that and other positions they may be looking to fill are more unclear.

The board convened during a special meeting Feb. 17 with only one action item: approve the resignation of 7-12 guidance counselor and business teacher Sandra Burke.

With Burke leaving, superintendent James McGown sought the board’s direction on replacement.
