County commissioners discuss closing 3 railroad crossings

LEXINGTON—The Dawson County Commissioners met on Friday to discuss closing three Union Pacific railroad crossings.

Two of the crossings at issue are on roads 427 and 429 between Cozad and Lexington, but they decided these crossings will remain. Closure of a railroad crossing on the east edge of Cozad at Paulsen’s East was considered, but no action was taken.
