Blown-tire accident

VAN ROLLOVER: An accident Thursday afternoon about 4 miles east of Gothenburg on Interstate 80 resulted in a trip to Gothenburg and Cozad hospitals for an Oklahoma family. KRVN Radio reported that a state trooper said a blown tire on the westbound vehicle was to blame for the vehicle rolling into the north ditch and several occupants being taken to Gothenburg Health and Cozad Community Hospital. The news report said injuries appeared to be non-life threatening for nine occupants, which included the driver, 41-year-old Jeremy Kitchen and 40-year-old Lois Kitchen; Connor Kitchen, 16; Kelsey Kitchen, 14; Kaelan Kitchen, 9; Camirin Kitchen, 3; Jeanette Kitchen, 70; and Stanley Kitchen, 70. KRVN reports that the trooper said seven of the nine people from Henryetta, OK, were wearing seat belts and the two ejected were not.
