Pony Express Re-ride
Back in the saddle: For 10 days each year, more than 600 riders from across the country have retraced the route of the original Pony Express. On June 15, riders left Sacramento and followed the same route as the first Pony Express riders. On June 23, they stopped at the Midway Pony Express station on the 96 Ranch south of Gothenburg. Jamie Johnson of Gothenburg rides into the station on his leg of the re-enactment.
