City council moves forward with asphalt

Savings could be considerable

City council members discussed the asphalt projects during their meeting on June 21.

City administrator Bruce Clymer told the council that Dawson County will have asphalt projects near here going to bid this fall. By including the city’s projects with the county bid, the city could take advantage of having an asphalt plant already set up while maintaining an individual construction contract.
