Eclipse chaser to share in Gothenburg

A former North Platte school teacher, turned eclipse chaser, will make a special presentation in Gothenburg this week. Derryl Barr now lives in Indianola, Iowa, with his wife, Pam—and has become known around the world as an eclipse expert. Barr will be sharing about his experiences and what eclipse viewers can expect during a special presentation on Friday, Aug. 18, at 9:30 a.m. at Stone Hearth Estates in Gothenburg. The event is free and open to the public.

Barr has witnessed 17 total solar eclipses from such exotic locations as Russia, Mongolia, Australia, Antarctica and several countries in South America. He has given numerous presentations in regards to his experience, and to have him in Gothenburg is a privilege you will want to take advantage of.
