Candidates: Gothenburg High School students voted for 2012 homecoming candidates last week. The top three male and female vote getters were announced during a pep rally on Oct. 10. A king and queen will be crowned after Thursday night’s football game. A dance will follow. The annual homecoming parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Dudley Elementary on Avenue G before turning left on 13th Street and left onto Avenue I. Floats and students will then head west on 20th Street and return to the school on Avenue G.
