16 to graduate Saturday at Brady
Sixteen students will receive their high school diplomas during commencement exercises at Brady Public Schools Saturday at 4 p.m.
The program will begin with an invocation by Valerie Most and Matthew Litzenberger will give the benediction.
Brittney Christophersen will give the valedictorian speech and Marc Kramer-Davis and Molly Hannon salutatorian speeches.
A variety of scholarships will be awarded to class members before diplomas are presented by superintendent Bill Porter, principal Bruce Hird and school board president Lisa Diehl.
Entertainment includes a special musical tribute to parents from the seniors, as well as a video presentation of the class.
Members of the 2013 graduating class are Kaleb Matthew Arterburn, Joshua Alexander Boon, Brittney Lynn Christophersen, Mikaela Rose Eckholt, Molly Marie Hannon, Krystan Hope Hood, Krista Ann Kleinow, Marc Anthony Kramer-Davis, Matthew Clark Litzenberger, Zachary Daniel Mann, Michael Jon Neiman, Sierra Cheyenne Quadhamer, Bryley Austin Roper, Dakota Jo Terry, Cole Douglas Viter and Jacob Ryan Walter.
Class officers are Sierra Quadhamer, president; Brittney Christophersen, vice president; Krista Kleinow, secretary; Mikaela Eckholt, treasurer.
The class colors are royal blue, apple green and purple. The class chose an orchid as the flower.
The 2013 class motto is an anonymous quote, “Our lives are before us, our past is behind us, but the memories are forever with us.”
They have selected the class song, “We Are Young” by 3Oh!3.
