Brady junior Brad Ward has received post-season football honors from the state’s two largest newspapers.

The Omaha World-Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star both listed Ward as an honorable mention player among those receiving 2009 all-Nebraska football recognition.

Ward collected 1,207 total yards rushing on the year and tied the school record for most touchdowns in a season with 23.
