The Gothenburg Quiz Bowl team brought home second place honors from the 25th annual Quiz Bowl sponsored by ESU 10.

The competition was held on March 5 at the University of Nebraska Kearney where 34 area schools competed.

The purpose of the quiz bowl competition is to encourage higher order thinking, recognize outstanding achievement, and promote academic excellence among participating middle school students.
