Brian Policky, 48 - October 21, 2014

Brian D. Policky, 48, of Kear­ney, formerly of Cozad, died Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at his home.
Services were conducted on Saturday, Oct. 25, at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home with the Rev. Art Faesser officiating. Interment will take place at a later date.
Policky was born on Aug. 18, 1966, at Columbus to Frank and Helen Gasper Policky. He grew up in the Columbus, Cozad and Kearney areas.
He received his education at Cozad High School and The University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Policky was married for 10 years to Sherri Smock Policky of Cozad. To this union, three sons were born.
He was employed as a self-employed computer programmer.
Policky loved his family more than life itself and always placed them first, according to family members. He also enjoyed sharing his knowledge, love and passion of music and motorsports with his children and grandchildren.
He was strong willed, intelligent, caring, compassionate, and more times than not, was stubborn, because he was never scared to fight for what he believed in, the family said. He always has and always will leave a lasting impression on those he met.
?Survivors include: his partner of 20 years, Kimberly Bullock; his children—Austin (Nicole Johnson) Policky, Logan Policky (Arron Buchta), and Tarren Policky; Tyler and Kortney Pfiefer Bullock, Trent Bullock, Dustin and Torey Bullock Walker and Cameron Bullock; his parents, Frank and Helen Gasper Policky; a brother, Adam (Dawn) Policky; sister, Heather Policky Armbrust; mother and father-in-law, Ron and Sandy Jobman; his grandchildren—Avery and Koen Policky, Kaidence and Karson Walker, Natileigh and Maxwell Bullock; numerous extended family members.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Policky Family Memorial Fund.
