David Earl, 75 - November 17, 2014

David J. Earl, 75, of Cozad passed away Monday, Nov. 17, 2014, at Bryan Medical Center West in Lincoln.
Services were conducted on Friday, Nov. 21, at the Church of Christ in Cozad. Burial was at the Cozad Cemetery.
Earl was born Oct. 30, 1939, at Kearney to Francis and Doris (Flynn) Earl. He grew up in Lexington where he attended school.
In 1958, he was joined in holy matrimony to Jean Sabin. The couple resided at Gothenburg and Lexington before moving to Cozad in 1965.
In 1989, he was united in marriage to Janette Biesecker. The couple recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary on Nov. 16.
Earl had a love for working on cars, family members said, and was employed at Earl’s Glass and Body Shop of Lexington before opening Dave’s Body Shop in Cozad.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Doris; his first wife, Jean.
?Survivors include: his wife, Janette; a sister, Donna Garrelts of Cozad; children—Daniel (Angie) Earl of Thedford, England, Jodie (Gary) Vinzant of Hill City, SD, Brenda Fleming and John (Beth) Earl, all of North Platte, Charlotte (Paul) Pentheny of Gothenburg and Paula Karas of Cozad; 15 grandchildren—Daniel, Lisa, Tara, Pamela, Tyler, Jessica, Jesiah, Stasha, Krista, Nikki, Skyler, Slater, Haile, Brock and Austin; nine great-grandchildren—Lila, Ava, Braydon, Keenan, Harper, Harlan, Alex, Bradley and Wesley.
A memorial has been established.
