Curtis Bosselman, 69 - March 21, 2015

Son of Norman DH and Annetta Margaret Kuck Bosselman, Curtis was born 15 September 1945, just 4 days shy of his dad’s 30th birthday.
He attended grade school in Worms (NE) and was a lifelong member of the congregation at Zion Lutheran Church. Curtis graduated from GISH in 1963 and from Kearney State College in 1968 with a degree in Industrial Engineering.
Curtis enlisted in the Army and was stationed at Fort Ord CA, Fort Knox KY, Arlington Hall Station VA, Phu Bai RVN and Fort Hood TX. He was proud to be able to serve the country he loved so much.
Curtis and Paula Elizabeth Haynes were married in the Gothenburg (NE) Methodist church the evening of 14 August 1966.
Retiring with a farm sale in 2008, he & Pod bought a house in Surprise, AZ and he moved down there full time after his mother passed in 2013. They came to RVing late but with great enthusiasm and were anticipating many future road trips.
Curtis made friends wherever he went: he cherished his family, faith, friends and farming. He drove Chevys, flew Cessnas and the US flag and farmed John Deere his whole life.
Curtis passed away in Arizona 21 March 2015 following a last brief illness. His body was cremated and no service is planned at this time. Survivors include sister-in-law Frances Ann Haynes (Art) Helfrich of Denver, niece J. Elizabeth Lake (Alex) Wallace and grand-niece Trinity Ann Wallace of OKC.
Because of his love of animals, memorials are suggested to Central Nebraska Humane Society or the pet rescue organization of donor’s choice, and condolences may be directed to Pod at red40th@aol.com or 11547 West Coyote Court, Surprise, AZ 85378.
