Mary Jane Dyke, 69 - June 21, 2015

Mary Jane Dyke, 69, of Gothenburg passed away Sunday June 21, 2015, at her home in Gothenburg.
Services will be conducted on Friday July 17, at 2 p.m. at the Victory Assembly of God Church in Gothenburg with the Revs. Robert Litzenberger and Mark Borchardt officiating.
Dyke was born Oct. 3, 1945, at Arnold to Scott Tietjens and Florence Alberta (Robinson) Tietjens. She grew up at Arnold where she attended school.
In the 1960s, she married Charles “Bud” Dyke in Minden. The couple later divorced and remained friends, the family said.
She was employed as a contract mail carrier, and was a member of the VFW and served as a Boy Scout leader.
Dyke enjoyed her family, cooking, baking and gardening, reading her Bible and sports as well as watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and the 700 Club, according to family members.
She was preceded in death by: her father, Scott Tietjens; her mother, Florence Alberta Connely; sisters—Katherine Mae, Carol and Cathy; a brother, Henry ; two great-grandchild­ren—Alexandria and Xane.
Survivors include: her daughters—Rosemarie Rae Weston and Suzanne Renee Winfield; a grandson, Adam McCracken; granddaughter, April McCracken; her sister, Florence; brothers—Frank and Beverly; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
