Charles Sabin, 32 - July 22, 2015

Charles “Charlie” B. Sabin, 32, of Overton, formerly of Gothenburg, died Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at Lexington.
Services were conducted at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel of Gothenburg on Saturday, July 25, with the Rev. Mark Borchardt officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Sabin was born Oct. 16, 1982, at North Platte, son of Charles H. Sabin and Brenda Skinner. He grew up at Gothenburg.
He was united in marriage to Cortni Felton on Feb. 14, 2015, at the Elm Creek United Methodist Church.
Sabin enjoyed spending time with his children and family as well as enjoying Chevy Chevelle’s, mudding, fishing, playing pool, listening to music and shopping at thrift stores, according to family members.
He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Hugh Cheever; great-grandfather and grandmother Sabin and great-grandfather and grandmother Holbein; his aunt, Joann Block.
?Survivors include: his wife, Cortni Sabin of Overton; his son, Gared Sabin of Gothenburg; daughters—Ava Sabin and Erica Purdum of Gothenburg; his father, Charles H. (Lisa) Sabin of Lexington; his mother, Brenda Skinner of North Platte; brothers—Tyler, Jacob and Brady Sabin of Lexington; a sister, Brieanda (Adam Dishman) Sabin of Lexington; grandparents—Dan and Marilyn Sabin of Lexington and Marilyn Cheever of Gothenburg; numerous nieces.
