James Stinehagen, 76 - November 09, 2015

James “Jim” L. Stinehagen, 76, of Billings, MT, formerly of Gothenburg, passed away Monday, Nov. 9, 2015.
Memorial services were conducted on Friday, Nov. 13, at St. Patrick Co-Cath­edral in Billings with a celebration of life service at the Northern Hotel.
Stinehagen was born Oct. 2, 1939, at Gothenburg and graduated from Cozad High School in 1958.
He then attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
In 1960, he married Barbara Reed. To this union, two daughters, Jolynn and Janna, were born. The couple later divorced in 1974.
Stinehagen married Chrystl Paoletti Van Der Dussen in 1978, adding Catherine to his family. To this union, another daughter, Lyndsay, was born.
He was employed as a private pilot and was an agribusiness entrepreneur, and loved ranching, according to family members.
?Stinehagen was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Martha.
?Survivors include: his wife, Chrystl; daughters—Jolynn Stinehagen, Janna (Bruce) Eberle, Catherine (Jay) Nelson and Lyndsay (Drew) Jensen; his sisters—Marilyn (Leigh) McNeal, Shirley Hinkle and Ellen “Perk” Herrington; grandchildren—Zachery, Megan, Jessica, Matthew, Hope, Alexa, Gavin and Taggart.
