Louise Blohm, 89 - September 23, 2016

Louise Nisley Kugler Blohm, 89, of Omaha, originally of Gothenburg, passed away Friday, Sept. 23, 2016, at Hospice House following a brief illness.
A Celebration of Life service was conducted Sept. 30 at Christ Community Church. Interment was at the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.
Blohm was born Nov. 21, 1926, at Gothenburg. She enjoyed sharing about her childhood in Gothenburg where she spent much time with her father on veterinary calls, according to family members.
She graduated from Gothenburg High School and from the Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Blohm raised four children and loved her life as a farm wife near Lexington, family stated.
She was active with the Methodist Church, P.E.O. and Park View Baptist Church.
Blohm later moved to Omaha in 2000. She remained active with Christ Community Church as a volunteer with the middle school youth group.
?Family was a delight to her and she was known to others for her high energy, a sense of humor and delicious pies, stated family. She was an avid Bible student and influenced family members and friends to know Jesus.
?Blohm was preceded in death by: her parents, LeRoy and Tilda D. Nisley; a brother, Bryant Nisley.
?Survivors include: her husband, Gary Blohm; a sister, Marian Kline; her children—John (Cyndi) Kugler, Becky Kugler, Peg (Brad) Hurrell and Lane (Peg) Kugler; grandchildren—Lance (Traci), Sara (Michael), Ashley (Mark), Kris (Sarah), Josh (Sonya), Preston (Tiffany), Heidi (Alex) and Chase (Abigail), Bailey (Jeremy); 17 Great-grandchildren.
