Donald Miller, 69 - July 03, 2017

Donald R. Miller, 69, of Gothenburg passed away Monday, July 3, 2017, at Great Plains Health in North Platte.
Services were conducted on Friday, July 7, 2017, at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel of Gothenburg with the Rev. Larry Viter officiating. Burial was at the Gothenburg Cemetery with Military Honors.
Miller was born June 12, 1948, at Lexington, son of Vaun and Catherine (Resch) Miller.
He served his country with the F Troop 8th Calvary Americal Division in the U.S. Army as a Spec 5 in 1968 and 1969 during the Vietnam War.
Miller married Sheri Feddersen on Jan. 7, 1972. To this union, two sons were born.
He had farmed for numerous years and enjoyed working with cattle, according to family members. He also remodeled homes and loved to weld, tinker on tractors and cars and work on derby cars with his grandchildren.
Another pastime he enjoyed was shooting trap as well as spending time with his family and having coffee with his friends, stated the family.
?Miller was preceded in death by: his parents, Vaun and Catherine Miller.
?Survivors include: his wife, Sheri Miller of Gothenburg; his sons—Brad (Deanna) Miller of Gothenburg and Brian (Candace) Miller of Elizabeth, CO; grandchildren—Tyler, Trayven, and Tarynn Miller of Gothenburg; a brother, Glen (Diane) Miller of Kearney; sister, Linda (Ron) Jensen of Long Beach, CA; Duane (Deanna) Miller of Missouri; brother-in-law, Russ (Cathy) Feddersen of Minnesota; special pet, Teagen; nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be later designated to a Veteran’s organization.
