Logan Bauman, 14 - December 10, 2008
Logan Andrew Bauman, 14, of Parker, CO, died suddenly as a pedestrian in a traffic accident near his home on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008.
Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 11, at 11 a.m. at Parker United Methodist Church, 11805 S. Pine Dr. at Parker Road. Services will conclude at the church.
Bauman was born on Aug. 17, 1994, at Albuquerque, NM, son of Andy and Karla Bauman, and brother of Alyse, all of Parker, formerly of Gothenburg and Imperial.
He had made a huge impact during his short time on earth, loving life and the people in his life, according to family members. He chose to view the cup as “half-full.”
Sports were important to him, especially football and the Parker Hawks, for whom he played quarterback this past year. He approached sports as he did life, with enthusiasm and optimism, said family members.
Bauman enjoyed school and being with his friends and teachers, and believed knowledge provides empowerment and choices. He was a world-class player of Guitar Hero and delighted in proving it to anyone who dared to test his skills, according to family members.
?A natural leader, he never took more from a relationship than he was willing to give back, said family members.
?Survivors include: his parents, Andy and Karla Bauman of Parker; his sister, Alyse of Parker; grandparents—Kent and Donita Pribbeno of Imperial, and Jerry and Mary Lou Bauman of Kearney, and the late Jeralyn Bauman; aunts and uncles—Marc and Mindy Young of Cozad, Mike and Jana Pribbeno of Imperial, Doug and Tracy Pribbeno of Indianapolis, IN, and Mike and Ann Smith of Leesburg, GA; numerous cousins and friends.
