Beverly Rollenhagen, 41 - November 19, 2008
Beverly Kay (Jorgensen) Rollenhagen, 41, of Curtis died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2008, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center in North Platte.
Services were held on Monday, Nov. 17, at the United Methodist Church of Curtis. Interment took place at the Curtis Cemetery.
Rollenhagen was born on March 27, 1967, at Lexington to Hugh (Pete) Jr. and Nancy Lee (Price) Jorgensen. She graduated from Lexington High School and attended Mid-Plains Community College.
She grew up in the Lexington area and lived in various communities around the state, settling at Curtis in 1998.
On Jan. 1, 2005, she was united in marriage to Scott Rollenhagen at the United Methodist Church in Curtis.
Rollenhagen was a member of NSNA and of NSSNA, serving on the legislative board and the breakthrough chair and was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed her kids, spending time with her family, camping and spending lazy rainy days cuddled on the couch, according to family members.
?Rollenhagen was preceded in death by: her grandparents; her parents, Hugh and Nancy; a cousin, Doug LaMay.
?Survivors include: her husband, Franklin Scott Rollenhagen of Curtis; a daughter, Rebecca Watkins of Lincoln; sons—Jeremy (Mary) Jones of Grand Island, Brian (Emily) Watkins of Hays, KS, Mike Jones and Jessica Thompson of Kearney, James Watkins of Hays, Andy Jones of North Platte, Brett Jones of Curtis, and Kris Main, also of Hays; two grandchildren—Justice and Kaylee, sisters—Candy Jones of Curtis and Edith Huffman of Driggs, ID; an aunt, Bonnie and Larry LaMay of Bellevue; three nieces.
