Harlan Ingalls, 55 - November 14, 2007
Services were held on Friday, Nov. 9, at the Adams & Swanson Chapel with the Rev. Don O’Brien officiating.
Ingalls was born on Oct. 28, 1952, to George and Shirley Everson Ingalls at Watertown, SD. He grew up and attended school at Henry, SD.
He was employed with Healey Construction and worked across the state of Nebraska.
Ingalls married Barb Mackley on Oct. 7, 1972, at Arnold. The couple moved to Spearfish, SD, and after a short time in the U.S. Army, moved back to Henry.
In 1981, Ingalls and his wife moved to Gothenburg where he was a truck driver for Affiliated Foods for many years. Most recently, he drove for Crete Carriers and the U.S. Post Office as a transport carrier.
He was a member of the Eagles Club. Ingalls enjoyed playing pool and cards and spending time with family and friends as well as spending time riding his custom Harley Davidson, according to family members.
?Ingalls was preceded in death by: his father, George; an infant grandson, Nathan Lane Ingalls.
?Survivors include: a daughter, Heidi (Larry) Thramer of North Platte; a son, Clint Ingalls of North Platte; three grandchildren—Luke and Myiah Thramer of North Platte and Madison Yonker of Tryon; three brothers—Bill (Monica) Ingalls of Spearfish, Wayne (Donna) Ingalls of Hazel, SD, and Steve (Teresa) Ingalls of Laporte, CO; two sister—Judy (Darrell) Wangen of Rapid City, SD, and Jean (Dick) Lane of Henry; step-father, Don Stensgaard of Rapid City; his mother, Shirley Stensgaard of Rapid City; special friend, Barb Eshelman of Brady.
Memorials are suggested to the Eagles Club.
