Ackerman, a beloved mother and grandmother, was born on June 6, 1927, at Gothenburg.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Gilbert Ackerman; a grandson, Robert Ackerman.
Survivors include: a daughter, Mary (Jack) Hein; three sons—Larry (Melinda) Ackerman, Dennis (Penny) Ackerman and Steven (Susan) Ackerman; Grandchildren—David (Hedy) Ackerman, Michael (Crystal) Ackerman and Lindsay Ackerman.
