Anthony Howell, 21 - January 31, 2007
Anthony Lee Howell, 21, of Gothenburg, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, due to an accident.
Services were held on Monday, Jan. 29, at the Evangelical Free Church of Gothenburg with the Rev. Rick Rehmert officiating. Burial was at the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Cozad.
Howell was born on June 23, 1985, at Gothenburg, to Dennis Leroy and Robin (Ault) Howell. He grew up in Gothenburg and attended Gothenburg High School. While in high school, he participated in football, basketball and track. He received his GED in 2005.
He was currently employed at Dawson Tire of Gothenburg. He had worked previously at Walker’s Steakhouse, Pizza Hut and McDonalds.
He enjoyed cards game such as SkipBo and poker as well as playing pool, working on cars and spending time with family and friends, according to family members. He was much like his father and would do anything for anyone.
?Howell was preceded in death by: his father, Dennis Howell; his sister, Mindy Howell; paternal grandfather, Milton Howell; maternal grandfather, Rodger Lawson.
?Survivors include: his mother, Robin Howell of Gothenburg; a brother, Brandon Howell of Wayne; a sister, Ashley Howell of Gothenburg; paternal grandmother, Audrey Tabor of Farnam; maternal grandmother, Ruth Rylander of Gothenburg; great-grandmother, Mary Ruth Rylander of Gothenburg; niece, Camran Marie Howell; numerous other family and friends.
