Dee Ann Diehl-Bartlett, 54 - July 21, 2012
Dee Ann Diehl-Bartlett, 54, of North Platte, originally of Gothenburg and Brady, died Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg, following a battle with cancer.Memorial services will be conducted on Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 10:30 a.m. at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Robert Litzenberger officiating. Inurnment will be at the Gothenburg Cemetery.
A book signing will take place at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel in Gothenburg on Monday, Aug. 6, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Diehl-Bartlett was born July 10, 1958, at Gothenburg, daughter of Bill and DeDe (Sherman) Diehl.
She grew up in Brady and graduated from Brady High School with the Class of 1976. She also resided at Gothenburg, Willow Island and most recently, North Platte.
Diehl-Bartlett was employed at various jobs in the Gothenburg and Cozad areas.
She enjoyed cooking and crocheting, said family members, and loved her grandchildren with all of her heart.
?Diehl-Bartlett was preceded in death by: a sister, Kathy Bockus; her first husband, Jim Armstrong; a nephew, Justin Bockus; grandparents—Willard and Elanor Diehl, and Jim and Helen Sherman.
?Survivors include: her son, Taylor (Andrea) Armstrong of Ashland; parents, Bill and DeDe Diehl; grandson, James Armstrong; granddaughter, Jocelyn and Jaley Armstrong; brothers—Scott (Pam) Diehl and Kenny (Lisa) Diehl of Brady; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Memorials are to be designated to the grandchildren’s college fund c/o Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, 620 10th St., Gothenburg, NE 69138.
