Debra Faye Forsyth, 50 - September 05, 2012Debra Faye Forsyth, 50, of Mt. Vernon, TX, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, at her home.
Forsyth was born Nov. 6, 1961, at St. Joseph, MO, the daughter of Roger Miller and Faye (Crystal) Kniss.
She grew up in Sutherland and graduated from Sutherland High School.
While employment at the power plant in Sutherland, she met her future husband. She was united in marriage to Ronald “Ronnie” Forsyth on May 22, 1981. To this union, a daughter was born in 1990.
Forsyth and her husband moved to Texas where she was employed as a registered certified pharmacy technician at Key Medicine Chest in Winnsboro, TX.
She possessed a loving heart and enjoyed giving gifts to others when needed, according to family members. One of the most treasured times of her life was going to Nebraska to be with family, especially her great-nieces and nephews.
Forsyth loved attending NASCAR races, family said, and made it an annual event with her husband and their friends. Her last great adventure was in August at the races in Bristol, TN.
?She was preceded in death by: her grandparents; two brothers—Robbie and Butch; a sister, Crystal Reneé; her father, Roger; father-in-law, Jewel; brothers-in-law—Jerry and John David.
?Survivors include: her husband, Ronald of Mt. Vernon; her daughter, Crystal De’Lynn of Mt. Vernon; mother and step-father, Faye and Jack Kniss of Gothenburg; three sisters—Dee (Jeff) Tuenge of North Platte, Tammy (Don) Leonhardt of Azle, TX, and Rochelle Whitman of St. Joseph, MO; a brother, Chuck (Suzi) Miller of Springfield; step-sister, Julie McCoy; four step-brothers—Jared Kniss, Chad, JJ and Kyle Obert; step-mother, Ruby Miller; numerous nieces, nephews, sisters- and brothers-in-law.
