Jeanette Mach, 77 - September 14, 2012

Jeanette Leora Mach, 77, of Cozad passed away Friday, Sept. 14, 2012, at Golden Living Center in Cozad.
A memorial graveside service, conducted by the family, will take place Oct. 6, at 2 p.m. at Cottonwood Cemetery at Burwell.
The family has honored her wishes that her body be cremated. There will be no visitation.
Mach was born Dec. 3, 1934, at Custer County to Arthur and Berniece (Dixon) Brown.
She graduated from Broken Bow High School with the Class of 1953.
On Jan. 22, 1955, she was united in marriage to Frank Mach at Sargent. To this union, nine children were born.
She and her husband lived all of their married lives in Custer County and moved into Callaway in 1976.
Mach was a stay-at-home mother and homemaker until going to work full time in 1976 for Monroe Auto in Cozad. She worked 20 years at Monroe’s until she retired. She then moved to the Golden Living Center in Cozad until her death.
She always had a huge garden and loved to read and crochet, said family members. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and always loved animals.
Mach was preceded in death by: her parents, Arthur and Berniece; her husband, Frank; three daughters—Anna, Alberta and Debra.
Survivors include: her three sons—Frank Mach, Jr. and Bill Mach, both of Oconto, and John Mach of Merna; three daughters—Fran Hagler of North Platte, Patti (Joe) Herndon of Gothenburg, and Lucille (John) Kutnink of Cambridge; three sisters—Joy Brown of Cozad, Joyce Shafer of Alda, and Mable Dobrovsky of Ord; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Memorials are suggested to Dawson County Alzheimer’s Association and AseraCare Hospice.
Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements.
