Brady boys win MNAC meet, Eagle girls finish fourth

ARNOLD—It wasn’t a great week for track. Because of bad weather the Mid-Nebraska Activities Conference moved its meet to Thursday from Friday.

The day was chilly but the cold didn’t keep the Brady boys from being successful as they won the title scoring 78 points. The close meet came down to the final event—the 4x400 relay.

“We thought it was pretty close, but hadn’t heard them announce team scores,” coach Rich Britten said. “The 4x400 clinched the team trophy with a sprint at the end.”

The relay finished second, however a third-place finish in that race would have dropped the Eagles to second or third place.
