Land approved for electronic sign

School foundation, village working together on project.

It’s been a long and sometimes frustrating process but school and village officials in Brady got word on Thursday that their efforts were worth it.

The Brady School Foundation has been working on getting an electronic sign in town for more than a year. Foundation members enlisted the help and partnership of the village when they realized placing the sign on school property wasn’t going to benefit the most residents.

“I was on the village board when we put in the first sign so I didn’t think this would be a difficult project,” said Brady native Bob Golter, who now serves on the school foundation board.

The sign he was referring to is the “Welcome to Brady” sign now at the intersection of Highway 30 and Link 56D.
