Jeff Holsten wins city golf championship

With a one-hole playoff Jeff Holsten beat Jake Peden to win the Gothenburg city golf championship on Saturday at Wild Horse Golf Club.

Holsten shot an 18-hole score of 73, which forced the one-hole playoff against Peden. The tournament was decided on the par four hole No. 10.

Holsten was playing on the black tees.

Dave Amos shot a 77 to win the first flight. Amos improved his score by 11 strokes from last year. The second flight was taken by Cameron Bullock, Jason Wagner won the third flight and J.C. Smith won the fourth flight.
