GHS alum enjoy TeamMates day with the Huskers
Dozens of students are pursuing a post-secondary education thanks in part to the TeamMates Mentoring Program.
More than 50 mentees were recognized for receiving an academic scholarship at the 2017 TeamMates Scholarship Celebration Sept. 23. Students, coordinators, board members, donors, and mentors came together for a special ceremony and watched the Huskers take on Rutgers at Memorial Stadium. Mentees were also featured on the big screen right before the game on the field.
Gothenburg TeamMates mentees Georgina Dishman and Taylor Rossell were honored at this celebration. Both of the girls are attending Nebraska Wesleyan University where they received a generous scholarship from TeamMates.
