Health on menu: GMH hosts annual fair

COPTER CALL: Gothenburg Memorial Hospital administrator John Johnson greets the flight crew from Good Samaritan Hospital’s Air Care helicopter Saturday morning when it landed outside the Wellness Center where an annual health fair was underway.

DOCTOR VISIT: Dr. Roger Simpson of North Platte, an ear, nose and throat specialist, presented at the fair (left photo) as did Gothenburg resident and nutritionist Mary Lou Block who talked about healthy eating for kids.

EYE TEST: Third grader Eliott McMichael has his sight tested in the Lions Club mobile unit which was parked next to the Wellness Center.
