Press women meet in Gothenburg

LEARNING ABOUT GOTHENBURG: The Nebraska Press Women had its fall convention in town last weekend. On Saturday, members gathered at the Gothenburg Public Library to learn about community journalism, economic development, how to write their own obituary and control of phragmites. They later toured the Monsanto Water Utilization Learning Center. Pictured is Community Development Office director Anne Anderson as she discusses “Communications for Economic Development, Volunteerism and Community Pride.”
