PLANTING A TREE: Students in Angela Johnson’s fifth-grade class help arborist Jeff Kennedy of Gothenburg plant a coffee tree in Palmer Park on Oct. 5 during a fall Arbor Day celebration. The village purchased the coffee tree through the Retree Nebraska program and received five additional trees free. Three will be planted in Palmer Park and two are going in the southside park.
