KC Lathrop of Gothenburg has been chosen as one of three assistant coaches for the East squad during the 34th annual West Nebraska All-Star Football game in Scottsbluff on June 2.

Lathrop joined the Swede coaching staff in 2007.

He will coach at the all-star game under East head coach Josh Graves of Cambridge. Additional East assistants are Jeff Konkoleski of Ainsworth and Bernie Madison of North Platte.

The West squad will be led by Jason Spady of Garden County with John Jones of Crawford, Chauncey Pederson of Kimball and Chris Seebohm of Alliance as assistants.

Players on the two squads will be named later.
