Steve and Joan Windrum won the 2011-2012 TeamMates Business Challenge. The contest was open to all local businesses and was a tool for recruiting business employees to become mentors in the mentoring program. They received a traveling trophy. The Windrums each mentor a fifth grade student and will continue to until that student graduates. They meet one hour a week during the school year and participate in various activities to provide their students a positive environment with another encouraging adult in their lives.
