CLOSING CEREMONY: A fifth grade team from Dudley Elementary placed seventh in the elementary division of the Fine Arts Challenge at Global (Destination Imagination) Finals in Knoxville, TN, last week. Teams in the top 10 were recognized during closing ceremonies.

Team co-manager Jenny Daup said 30 teams competed from Nebraska during the competition in elementary, middle and secondary challenges but Gothenburg was the only one to place in the top 10. Cozad sent two teams. Their elementary team placed 13th overall and the middle-school team placed 23rd.
