RELAXING at Lake: Bill Streeter, the editor/publisher of the ABA Banking Journal, the flagship magazine published by the American Bankers Association, arrived in Gothenburg Saturday to do an extensive interview with Gothenburg State Bank chairman and president Matt Williams. Williams, chairman-elect of the national organization, will take over as chairman of the ABA in October when he will be featured in the magazine. Freelance photographer Piet Van Lier, from Cleveland, OH, arrived in town Sunday to photograph Williams, his family, church, bank, friends and his surroundings. Streeter toured Gothenburg, attended church with the Williams family, met with bank employees and more. Williams (left) and Streeter socialized at the Williams’ cabin Sunday night. On Monday, the two traveled to Lincoln to meet with state ABA officials and Gov. Dave Heineman. The ABA Banking Journal is published in New York City.
