Helping those who need it
FFA food drive: Members of the Gothenburg High School FFA group sponsored an annual food drive again this year. Cans of food, collected by students K-12, is given to the food pantry at the American Lutheran Church.
Students met their goal and got out of school for the holiday break 2 hours earlier than planned. The fifth graders collected the most cans that weighed 221 pounds. Transporting boxes of cans on Dec. 17 are Kylee Beyea (left) and Katlin Harm.
