Zada Price, 96 - April 20, 2015

Zada E. Price, 96, of North Platte died Monday, April 20, 2015, at Hilltop Estates in Gothenburg.
Services took place on Saturday, April 25, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Aaron Stalker officiating. Burial was at the North Platte City Cemetery.
Price was born Aug. 28, 1918, at North Platte to George and Susan (Collicott) Clark. She spent most of her life residing in Lincoln County.
She received her bachelor of arts degree in elementary education and taught at rural schools in Lincoln and Dawson counties, finishing her teaching career at Brady Public Schools.
Price was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, belonged to the Lioness International, the Monday Night Moonshiners Extension Club, SVEA Dal Ladies Aid and the Gothenburg Retired Teachers Association.
She enjoyed volunteering for Adult Basic Education and the Bloodmobile as well as missionary service for a church in North Carolina, Harkers Island, for a year and volunteering at the hospital there.
?Price was an avid reader, liked dancing, walking, exercising class and extensive traveling, according to family members.
?She was preceded in death by: her parents, George and Susan; her husband, Olen Price; an infant son, Larry Eugene; two brothers—Charles and James Clark; granddaughter, Sherry Rae.
Survivors include: her sons—Gary (Verna) Price and Olen (Gerri Grigsly), all of North Platte; grandchildren—Shauna and Shane of Lincoln, Niki, John and Keisha, all of Grand Island, and Steven, Josh (Maggie Habermann), all of North Platte; 14 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; nephew, Charles (Arlene) Clark and their children; grandchildren—Dustina and Troy; numerous nieces and nephews.
