David King Rice, Jr., 54 - September 09, 2015

David King Rice, Jr., 54, of Brady died at the Denver Health Medical Center on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2015, following a motor vehicle accident in Brady.
Memorial Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore. His cremains will be buried next to his son at the Farnam Cemetery.
Rice was born Feb. 11, 1961, to David King Rice, Sr. and Joyce May Shevory Rice at Norfolk, MA. He grew up at Mirror Lake in Norfolk, MA.
Following his school years, he was employed with construction in the New England area.
In 1983, he married Lorain Thompson. The couple later divorced.
Rice later married Theresa Rawding, and in the summer of 2005, he and his family moved to Farnam where he continued his work as a carpenter.
He was a Christian man who enjoyed the outdoors and God’s creations, according to family members. He liked to write poetry, listen to music and enjoyed photography, art, woodworking and electronics, always was willing to share his knowledge with family and friends.
Rice was preceded in death by: his son, David King Rice, III; parents, Joyce and David King Rice, Sr.
?Survivors include: his children—Jessica Rice (fiancé Jeremy Woodward), Christian (Samantha) Rice, Lawrence Rice, III (fiancée Jenn Hatch) and their mother, Lorain Thompson Rice, all of Attleboro, MA; son, Joseph Rice of Wareham, MA; daughter, Angela Rice and her mother, Theresa Rawding, both of Farnam; sisters—Jullianne Able of Pratt, KS, and Lea Albee of Franklin, MA; brothers—Everett John Rice of Pratt, KS, and Lawrence Dana Rice, II of Needham, MA; five grandchildren—Dylan Rice, Lawrence Rice, IV, Kristian Simoneau, Gabriel Simoneau and Isaiah Woodward; his girlfriend, Diane Holbrook of Wakeeney, KS; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
