Bernice Maline, 86 - September 25, 2015

Bernice Maline, 86, of Wallace, originally of Gothenburg, passed away Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at the North Platte Care Center.
Services were conducted at the North Platte Seventh-day Adventist Church on Monday, Sept. 28. Interment was at the Gothenburg Cemetery.
Maline was born Feb. 25, 1929, at Gothenburg, the daughter of William H. and Laura Belle (Rosser) Garrelts. She grew up at Gothenburg and graduated from Gothenburg High.
In 1947, she married Stanley Maline. To this union, six children were born.
She lived her life as a busy farm wife and mother. In 1973, the family moved to Wallace where they continued their farming and ranching.
Maline was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She was a Pathfinder Club leader for many years and was involved in Extension Club, a Bible study group, Christian Women’s Club, and was also a 4-H leader.
Maline was preceded in death by: her parents, William and Laura Belle Garrelts; her husband, Stanley; an infant daughter; a brother and a sister; numerous other family members.
?Survivors include: her children—Judy (Jim) Little of New Market, VA, Cheryl “Terri” (Mike) Gonzales of Grand Island, LuAnne (Tony) Barner of Wallace, Ronda (John) Kreifels of Lincoln, and Randy (Denice) Maline of Wallace; 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters—Alice Sheffield and Linda (Bill) Hughes; a brother, Glenn Garrelts; sister-in-law, Bonnie Maline; brother-in-law, Aksel (Betty) Jensen; numerous extended family members.
Memorials are suggested to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
