Charlotte Province, 59 - July 05, 2016

Charlotte “Bobbie” Province, 59, of Lexington, formerly of Gothenburg, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at her home in Lexington.
Services took place on Monday, July 11, at the Berryman Funeral Home Chapel with Lonna Grabenstein, PMA, officiating. Burial was at the Cozad Cemetery.
Province was born Sept. 15, 1956, at Glendale, CA, to Clifford and Idonnah (Young) Province.
She and her family moved to Las Vegas, NV, when she was five years old. She completed her schooling while living there.
Province resided at Las Vegas until 1990, working at several jobs during this period, then moving to Vacaville, CA, to be near family.
She moved to Gothenburg in 1994 with family and made her home there for several years.
Attending the American Lutheran Church, she enjoyed being a member of the bell choir.
Province loved children and volunteered as a helper at Bible School. She also enjoyed reading the Bible with others, especially her friend, Joyce, according to family members. Listening to religious music brought much joy to her life as well as making crafts and art projects.
?She was a member of People First of Nebraska and enjoyed attending the annual conferences.
?Province moved to Lexington in 2011 where she resided until her death.
?She had enjoyed decorating her apartment, spending time with friends shopping, and always found comfort in the Bible and her faith in God, family said.
Province was preceded in death by: her parents, Clifford and Idonnah; half-sisters—Marilyn, Joy and Carol.
Survivors include: her long time friend, Joy Sheets of Gothenburg; a half-sister, Darlene of Sacramento, CA; nieces, nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Cozad After Zone and the American Lutheran Church of Gothenburg.
