Judy Moore, 62 - January 14, 2009

Judy Anne Moore, 62, of Farnam, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, at Gothenburg Memorial Hospital.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Wed­nesday, Jan. 14, at the United Methodist Church of Farnam with the Rev. Tess Hufford officiating. Internment took place at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
Moore was born March 26, 1946, north of Stockville, to Kenneth J. and Leona (Mann) Brown. She attended elementary school in Stockville, then the family moved to Curtis where she graduated from UNSA in 1964.
Following graduation, she moved to Lincoln where she attended Joseph’s College of Beauty.
In 1966, she was united in marriage to Jerry Pike. To this union two sons were born, Jay Rodney and Jeffery Allen. The family moved to Curtis and then to North Platte. She and her husband later separated.
On Nov. 7, 1975, she married Al Moore. To this union a daughter was born, Jodi Leanne.
She enjoyed shopping for her grandchildren and was known as an excellent cook, according to family members.
Moore was preceded in death by: her father and mother, Kenneth and Leona Brown; a brother, Harold Brown; mother-in-law, Aleen Moore; grandson, Shane Miller.
Survivors include: her husband, Al Moore of Farnam; her sons—Jay (Marci) Pike of Stockville and Jeff Pike of Lexington; her daughter, Jodi Dubry of Ketchum, OK; brother, Bob (Jenny) Brown of North Platte; sisters-in-law—Nadine Brown of Curtis, Charlene Sawyer of Gothenburg, and Jolita Moore of Omaha; brothers and sisters-in-law—Dave (Donna) Moore of Farnam, Lenny (Donna) Moore of North Platte, and Connie (Cecel) Morton of California; special friends, Ray and Jerry Groenewold of Farnam; grandchildren—Desiree (Pike) Cabellos, Kenneth Pike, Dana Pike, Tasha Pike, William Dubry, Broderick Pike, Ashley Pike, Timothy Dubry, Holly Dubry, Denae Owens, Trey Hildebrandt, Derek Hildebrandt, Brandon Pike, Chester Pike and Elizabeth Pike; great-grandchild, Jocelyne Cabellos; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
