Dorothy Marshall, 87 - April 09, 2008

Dorothy Lucille (Puls) Marshall, 87, of Gothenburg died Monday, April 7, 2008, at Stone Hearth Estates in Gothenburg.
A visitation will be held Thursday, April 10, from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel at Gothenburg
Services will be held Friday, April 11, at 2:30 p.m. at the American Lutheran Church of Gothenburg with the Rev. Matthew Groenke and Lonna Grabenstein officiating. Burial will take place at the Gothenburg Cemetery.
Marshall was born on Oct. 26, 1920, at Eustis to H. J. and Anna (Jorges) Puls. She attended grade school at Salem Lutheran and later attended high school in Eustis.
She was united in marriage to Richard (Pete) Marshall on Feb. 28, 1937. To this union, two sons were born.
Marshall was a member of the American Lutheran Church and the Eastern Star.
She enjoyed painting, playing bingo, cards and gardening, according to family members. Her favorite hobby was cooking which she enjoyed doing for any event or family gathering, especially baking pies and cakes.
Marshall was preceded in death by: her husband, Richard (Pete); her parents, H. J. and Anna; five brothers—Ferdinand, Lester, Elmer, Walter (Fat), and Lawrence (Brownie) Puls.
?Survivors include: her sons—Leslie (Jackie) Marshall of Borger, TX, and Eldon (Carole) Marshall of Stapleton; five grandchildren—Craig (Vicky) Marshall of Niobrara, Marcia (Jeff) Higgins of North Platte, Corby (Summer) Marshall of Savannah, GA, Wesley (Melissa) Marshall of Clifton, TX, and Dr. Natalie (David) Weisberg of Albuquerque, NM; great-grandchildren—Ciera Marshal, Emilee and Kacee Higgins, Emma, Julia, Claudia and Beck Marshall and Julius Weisberg; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to the American Lutheran Church or the Senior Center.
