Neola Tetley, 84 - January 09, 2008
Services were held on Monday, Jan. 7, at the United Methodist Church in Brady with the Rev. Janie Freeman officiating. Burial took place at the Cozad Cemetery.
Tetley was born on July 16, 1923, at Chamois, MO, to Paul J. and Vanona Robinson Paulsmeyer. She graduated from Chamois High School in 1941.
In 1942, she was united in marriage to Raymond J. Tetley. The couple resided at Jefferson City, MO.
Following her husband’s military discharge, the couple lived in several communities, moving to Gothenburg in 1947. In 1962, they moved to Marysville, KS, and have made their home in Brady since 1968.
While living in Brady, she was employed as a dispatcher for the Gothenburg Police Department.
Tetley was a member of the United Methodist Church of Brady and the Eastern Star.
She enjoyed playing cards and loved spending time with her grandchildren, according to family members.
Tetley was preceded in death by: her husband, Raymond; and a great-grandson, Barret.
Survivors include: four sons—Jerry (Judy) of Moreno Valley, CA, Frank Tetley of Brady, Doug Tetley of Wahoo and Greg (Shelley) of Cozad; a brother, Carroll (Maxine) Paulsmeyer of Rolla, MO; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; numerous other relatives and friends.
