David Miller, 48 - October 17, 2007
Visitation will be held from 12 noon-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel.
Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18, at 2: p.m. at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel of Gothenburg with the Rev. Smith Kite of the Church of Christ officiating. Burial will take place at the Peckham Cemetery, south of Gothenburg.
Miller was born on Sept. 29, 1959, at Gothenburg, to George and Marie (Richardson) Miller.
He attended Gothenburg Public Schools and graduated in 1978. As a teenager he was baptized by Forest French in the Ogallala Church of Christ.
Miller worked as a mechanic at Platte Valley Auto in Lexington.
He was a devoted son and enjoyed country life, according to family members. His hobbies included fixing cars and motorcycles as well as collecting Hot Wheels, cars, motorcycles and belt buckles.
?Miller was preceded in death by his father, George.
?Survivors include: his mother, Marie Miller of rural Gothenburg; aunts—Elaine Harms of Kearney and Ruth Miller of Gothenburg; an uncle, Tony (Joanne) Miller of Brady; numerous extended family and friends.
