Gerald (Jerry) Ernest Aden, 72 - August 21, 2011
Graveside funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, in Beaufort (SC) National Cemetery. The family will greet friends at J. Henry Stuhr Mount Pleasant Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24.
Aden was born Aug. 16, 1939, in Gothenburg, the son of the late Ernest Aden and Louise Edmondston Aden. He served in the United States Army and worked as a carpet and flooring salesman. He attended Seacoast Church of Mt. Pleasant.
He is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Sharon Ann Tournor Aden of Mt. Pleasant; sons—Steve Aden of Goose Creek, SC; and Allen Aden of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren—Mariah, Brooke, Jacob and Jared; brother Randy Aden of Simi Valley, CA; sister Mary Lou Block of Gothenburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Odyssey Hospice, 5965 Core Road, Suite 603, North Charleston, SC 29406.
