FFA’ers attend conference

PLANNING AND PRESENTING: Seventeen Gothenburg FFA members attended a three-day Activate and Leverage Conference in Kearney last week. Throughout the conference, members learned how to successfully plan an event for their chapter and how to properly prepare and present to a group. Along with planning events, FFA vice president Ebony Anderson said members learned that leadership is influencing the hearts, minds and actions of others. Currently, the local FFA chapter is preparing for state convention in Lincoln, April 6-8. Anderson said 62 members have qualified to attend.
