Topsy turvy

DAMAGING WINDS: A storm system that moved through Gothenburg the night of May 24 tore branches from trees and caused other damage around town, such as flinging this trampoline onto a fence in the back yard of Floyd and Brenda Holt at 707 Sixth St.

The trampoline struck their garage and damaged siding. One area resident with a weather station measured a 47 mph wind gust during the storm. Central Nebraska Public Power & Irrigation District officials recorded 1.19 inches of rain. To view more photos, click on “Photos” in the navigation bar.
