City finishing $2 million sewer project

Boring under tracks, Hwy. 30 slated to begin this week.

Dewatering has begun as crews start the final push to complete city sewer improvements.

City officials ask motorists to be aware of heavy equipment in the east part of town, from Highway 30 north to Avenue K to 10th Street and west to Avenue G.

Most of the equipment and installation won’t be in residential areas until the end of June and first of July, said city services director Shane Gruber.
